Miriam L. Byrd, 91, of Cecil Township died June 4, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
She was born October 27, 1921 in Swissvale, the daughter of David M. Morrow and Sarah Ross Morrow.
She resided the last ten years with her friends, Joann Charles and Daniele Charles Meny.
She was married to the late William J. Leineweber, who died November 1969. She later married Frank Byrd, who is also deceased.
She was a hard worker who loved planting her vegetable garden, dancing and baking.
Miriam is the last of her immediate family.
Surviving is her stepson, Keith E. Byrd; five nieces, Barbara Lewis, Edith Ruffalo, Betty Jean Randolf, Nancy Van Briggle and Ruth Ann Roberts, as well as her great nieces and great nephews.
Deceased is a brother, David Morrow and a sister, Anna Morrow.
Friends will be received Saturday, June 8th from noon to 1 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
