Mary T. Danley, 87, of Washington, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in her residence. She had been ill since November 2010.
She was born March 4, 1926, a daughter of Vincent and Veronica Sabo Carr.
Mrs. Danley was an Avon representative for 40 years and, at one time, attended Allison Avenue Baptist Church.
Her primary focus was family and providing constant care to her handicapped son, Charles “Leroy.”
On November 6, 1948, she married Paul L. Danley, who died July 1, 2007.
Surviving are four sons, Dana V., John P., Thomas W., and Charles “Leroy” Danley, all of Washington; two sisters, Wanda “Peg” Crouse of Missouri and Rose (Joseph) Giardino of Holly Hill, Florida; three grandchildren, Dana V. Danley, Jr., Jeremy Danley and Christina (B.J.) Bunner; a great-grandson, John Robert Bunner; and several nieces and nephews, including Helen Johnson, with whom she lived.
Deceased are two brothers, Orlando and Vincent Carr.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22nd, with Rev. George Garancosky officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
