David Rizzo, Sr.

David Rizzo Sr., 95 of Washington, PA died Wednesday, June 19 in Hawthorne Woods. He was born December 7, 1917, in Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, the son of Louis Rizzo and Mary Compelongo Rizzo. Mr. Rizzo was born and raised in New Jersey and spent 25 years in Fort Pierce, Florida and lived the last three years in Washington, PA. He was lifetime member of NE Regional Council of Carpenters Local #254. David was a long time boating enthusiast who enjoyed sailing. On July 2, 1940 he married Mary J. Muscle who died November 21, 1968. Surviving is a son, David Rizzo Jr. of Sayreville, NJ; three daughters, Charlene Zygler of Washington, PA, Joanne Radtke of Flagstaff, Arizona, Janice Wieland of Pompano Beach, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Deceased is a daughter, Candice House; a grandchild, Alfred Radtke and all of his brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., July 12th at Our Lady of Victories, Main St, Sayresville, New Jersey. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Sayresville, New Jersey.
