Erla Jean Phillips

Erla Jean Phillips, 80 of Washington died July 11, 2013 in the Donnell House. She was born January 28, 1933 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Sylvester T. King and Vera Llewellyn King who are deceased. Erla was a homemaker and she enjoyed country and gospel music and was interested in crafts and dolls. On August 12, 1951 she married Earl Duane Phillips who died December 18, 1981. Surviving are two sons, Earl Dale (Tracy) Phillips of Waynesburg, Charles Owen Phillips of Bruceton Mills, WV; two daughters, Kathy Jean (Ed) Phillips Cox of Prosperity, Sharon Elizabeth (Greg) Rush of Waynesburg; two sisters, Elverna M. Ackley of Maryland, Lois E. Stollar of Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Angie Cox, Matt Cox, Tina M. Phillips, Jason D. Phillips, Teja L. Phillips, Cody D. Phillips, Sierra C. Phillips, Amy Jo Kennedy, Kelly Jean Toland, Christopher R. Burt, Erin E. Piatt and David Voytek; 18 great grandchildren, Chandler and Alexis Phillips, Coralynn, Alayna, Aaliyah, and Brooklyn Phillips, Kyle Caldwell, Tyree and Tashina King, Britaney and Dalton Toland, Breanna, Nicholas, Nathan Seaman, Gauge and Mallory Piatt, Cassedy Bowman, Elaina Trumble. Deceased are two brothers, Orville B. King and Theodore D. King. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 3:00 pm at Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
