Margaret Coffman Fuller, 94, of Washington, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born May 16, 1919, in McClellandtown, a daughter of Leonard Coffman and Grace McCann Coffman.
Mrs. Coffman was a graduate of German Township High School. For 36 years she worked for Bell of PA, first as an operator, then in the engineering department, from which she retired.
Mrs. Coffman was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star, Martha V. Paul Chapter, where she was a past matron. She was very patriotic and enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and crafts, especially crocheting.
Her first husband, Thomas Reed Franks, was killed in action during World War II.
On July 3, 1957, she married Earl Fuller, Jr., who died September 16, 1980.
Surviving are a sister, Virginia Christopher of McClellantown; two grandsons, Kevin Reed (Sherry) Franks and Keith Andrew Franks; a great-great grandchild, Grace Ann Franks; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Franks, who was her primary caregiver; and a nephew, Timothy Christopher.
Deceased are two sons, David Franks who died in infancy, and Thomas Lee Franks, who died February 11, 2008.
Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 24th, with Rev. Stephen Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
