Michelle Mcgowan Hoye

Michelle McGowan Hoye, 44, of Scenery Hill, died on Friday, July 26, 2013. She was born on January 26, 1969, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a daughter of Thomas and Bonita Garrett McGowan, of Scenery Hill. A graduate of Trinity High School, she was Methodist by faith. Mrs. Hoye had worked as a safety coordinator for Alex Parris Contracting. She loved her children, and enjoyed animals, especially dogs and horses. On June 9, 1990, she married John Vance Hoye, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Shane (Tiffany Lindsay) Hoye and Andrew Hoye, and fiancée Paige Barnhart, both of Scenery Hill; a sister, Sheryl Baker, of Jacksonville, FL; 2 nephews, Kyler Baker and Joshua (Veronica) McGowan; and 3 great-nieces, Riley, Alana and Cailyn. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in Scenery Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating.
