Lois Irene Beabout Conaway

Claysville homemaker enjoyed gardening. Lois Irene Beabout Conaway, 91, of Claysville, died Thursday, August 8, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born May 4, 1922, in Greene County, a daughter of Leo and Vesta Clutter Beabout. Mrs. Conaway was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, puzzles and cooking. On November 21, 1946, she married Ralph E. Conaway, who died December 1, 2005. Surviving are a son, David Conaway of Taylorstown; a daughter, Linda (John) Gallagher of Peters Township; four grandchildren, Quentin Conaway, Crissy Laush, Judy Flick and Renee (Jaime) Holt; and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Preston and Parker. Deceased are six brothers, Charles, Wayne, Carl, Earl, George and Reed Beabout; and two sisters, Sarah Hopkins and Dorothy Karvan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 12. Burial will be private at a later date in Prosperity Cemetery.
