Patty Lee Maxwell, 69 of West Alexander, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in the Donnell House, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 3,1943 in McDonald the daughter of Samuel Oliver Pattison and Velma Byers Pattison who are deceased.
Patty was employed at the Washington County Health Center for 23 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and was previously employed at the Amherst Hospital in Lorain, OH. After retiring she worked part time at the Donut Connection.
She was a member of Dutch Fork Christian Church but attended West Alexander Christian Church.
She graduated from Avella Junior-Senior High School in 1961,where she was Head Majorette in her senior year. She enjoyed reading, ceramics and loved her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Jack (Jennifer) W. Niskey of San Diego, CA; a daughter, Andrea Lynn Niskey of West Alexander; two brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Pattison of Avella, Gerald (Dorothy) Pattison of West Alexander; three sisters, Lois (Eli) Dille of Prosperity, Christine Bradbury of Claysville, Dorothy Miller of Augusta GA; three grandchildren, Jacob, Malcom and Sarah Niskey and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Dale Glen Niskey; two brothers, Samuel Oliver Pattison Jr., Glenn Pattison; a sister, Ellen Bentrum.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at West Alexander Christian Church, 124 Main St., West Alexander with Rev. Bruce Graff officiating. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Donnell House, c/o Washington Health Systems Hospice Care, 155 Wilson Ave., Washington, PA 15301 or to the family c/o Wm. G.
