Cynthia A. Sager Ellis Myzak, 52, of Washington, PA, formerly of Greensburg, lost her battle with lung cancer on September 8, 2013.
She was born on August 2, 1961, in Greensburg, a daughter of Mary Jo (Ralph “Boxer”) Zediker, of Bethesda, OH and Timothy P. (Nora “Sam”) Sager, of New Stanton.
She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at the Washington Hospital for 18 years and was an active member of the union.
To everyone that knew her, she was a kind and compassionate individual who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles, planting flowers, keeping a clean house, spending time with friends and family, doing yard work, and was consequently given the nickname “Farm boss” by her husband.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Michael R. Myzak whom she married on June 8, 2013, and considered herself fortunate to spend the past 8 years with; grandmother Alda C. Sager of Youngwood; 4 brothers, Timothy Sager, of Mt. Pleasant, Mark Sager, of Ohio, Todd (Laura) Sager of Youngwood, and Keith Zediker of Ohio; a sister, Tracey Zediker of Ohio; daughter Rischelle (Joshua) Shaw of Erie; a son, Gregory Bayless Jr. of Washington; and granddaughter Zoe Shaw of Erie.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, and on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m., the time of services, in C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood, PA 15697, with Rev. Susan Petritis officiating
Interment will follow in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601.
