Janet May Wade, 60 of Washington, died Friday, September 13, after a courageous year long battle with cancer, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born September 26, 1952 in Washington, the daughter of Leroy Shrader and Thelma Snyder Shrader.
She worked as a cashier at ShopNSave in Canonsburg for many years until she became sick. She loved to play bingo and dartball at the VFW in Canonsburg. She also enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Kenny) Shrader; two sons, Jason (Amanda) Shrader and Shawn (Teasa) Tarr; four sisters, Caroline Chadwick, Thelma Chadwick, Laura Ealy and Darla Miller; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Ethan, Kenny, Nathan, Austin, Shaylee, Mylee, William, Megan, Shawn, Paul, Bradliey, Brian, Braylan and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are one grandson, William Austin Shrader; two sisters, Katherine Wade and Sandy Bitz; a brother, Norman Shrader.
Friends will be received Monday, September 16, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family care of the funeral home.
