Harold Eugene “Junior” McCutcheon, Jr., 56, of Claysville, died on Friday, September 27, 2013.
He was born on February 5, 1957, in Washington, a son of Juanita McCutcheon (Shuman), of Claysville, and the late Harold “Whitey” McCutcheon.
Mr. McCutcheon attended Washington High School, and played 8th Ward football at the Brownson House.
Previously, he had delivered tires for Discount Tire, in Claysville. Then, as a member of the Teamsters, he was a truck driver for Waste Management, for 25 years.
Mr. McCutcheon coached his son’s baseball and football teams, where his son was always known to his dad as “Little Man”, and his daughter’s softball and basketball teams, was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #22, and participated in the Demolition Derby for many years, having won the Bus Derby, in 2002. He also enjoyed going to gun and cash bashes.
Surviving are a son, Harold E. (Becca Gradert) McCutcheon, III, of Claysville; a daughter, Tracy (Freddie) Moore, of Claysville; 7 sisters, Donna (Scott) Brownlee, of Claysville; Linda Garner, of Washington; Sherry (Jack) Lindner, of North Jackson, OH; Lisa (Scott) Daniels, of North Jackson, OH; Nancy (Jim) Fisher, of Washington; Brenda (Bill) Miller, of Washington; and Diane Hilton, of Carrolton, OH; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Ashlyn “Chubbs” and McKinley “Isabella”; 2 special nephews, Kevin and John Brownlee; 2 special nieces, Debra Kis and Amanda Ewing; and a longtime friend, Bud Garrett.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
