Josephine Ann Lusk, 75 of Washington, died October 3, 2013 in the Washington County
Health Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 28, 1938 in California, PA, the daughter of John Voytek and Anna Bednar Voytek.
Josephine worked for the Trinity School District in the Cafeteria for 21 years and attended St Hilary Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed polka and square dancing and Big Band music. She also enjoyed being a Trinity Band parent. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 175 Auxiliary for four decades.
On June 18, 1955, she married John “Jack” S. Lusk Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, J. Scott (Beth Ann) Lusk Jr. of Washington, David Michael Lusk of Arlington, VA; a daughter, Deanna Lynn (Ken) Nuzum of Washington; two sisters, Virginia McCormick of Washington, Lorraine Antal of Punta Gorda, FL; two grandchildren, Lucas and Joel Nuzum.
Deceased are three brothers, Gene Voytek, John D. Voytek and Albert Voytek.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 7th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 pm. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday, October 8th at 12:15 p.m. with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Washington County Health Center, Alzheimer’s Unit, 36 Old Hickory Ridge Rd, Washington, PA 15301.
