Erwin Frank Rohrbacher, Jr., 64 of Washington, died Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the Washington Hospital following a five-month illness.
He was born November 29, 1948 in Washington, the son of Erwin F. Rohrbacher Sr. and Sarah A. Marra Rohrbacher.
Erwin graduated from Trinity High School and attended a trade school for welding.
Mr. Rohrbacher was employed as an ironworker for Local #3 for 35 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and golfing with his best friend Tom and grandson William Rickus III. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and watching his granddaughter Hailey play softball.
On August 27, 2010 he married Rita Locy Rickus, his companion for 24 years prior to marriage, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John “J.D.” Rohrbacher of Canonsburg, Jason (Kimberly) Rickus of Elm Grove, WV, William (Tiffany) Rickus of Washington; a daughter, Stacey Vance of Claysville; a brother, Robert (Sherry) Rohrbacher of Washington; a sister, Joyce (Rich) Hoscinsky of E. Brunswick, NJ; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother in law, Wilma Locy.
Friends will be received on Thursday, October 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Services and luncheon will be held Saturday, October 26th at 1 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 200 Banetown Rd., Amity.
