Jo Anne Caudell

Jo Anne Caudell, 68, of Washington, formerly of Shelbyville, IN, died on Saturday, October 19, 2013, in the Canonsburg Hospital, following a 20-year illness. She was born on December 13, 1944, in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late Raymond Leo and Doris Lamert Ludgate Conlon. A graduate of Shelbyville High School, Indiana, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Ms. Caudell had worked for 5 years as a nurse’s aide, at the Washington Hospital. Surviving are her longtime friend, with whom she made her home, Deborah Miller; a daughter, Dee Anne Caudell Orbany, of Pennsylvania; a brother, Bruce Alan Conlon, of Delaware; a sister, Nancy Lee Burke, of Canonsburg; and 2 grandchildren, Mathew Aaron Orbany and Ashleigh Marie Orbany. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 E. Maiden St., Washington, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, with Rev. Catherine Peternell officiating. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery.
