Regis Duane Ball, 74, of Washington, died Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Washington Hospital.
He was born October 30, 1939, in Washington the son of Raymond Ball and Jessie Appleby Ball who are deceased.
Regis was a U.S. Marines, Lance Corporal, who served his country from 1956 to 1959.
Mr. Ball was hot side laborer at J & L Steel in Aliquippa. He enjoyed country music, John Wayne and western movies and working on cars when he was younger. He also loved his cat, Jarhead.
Surviving are three sons, John (Janet) Ball of Robinson Township, Regis (Lisa) Ball Jr. of West Alexander, Paul (Jennifer) Ball of Bridgeville; two daughters, Bonnie (Frank) Wilson and Sandra (Robert) Campbell both of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Harriette Bayne, Edna Hazlett and Sharon Bruno; a cousin, Karen Stainbrook, ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Deceased are his wife Daisy Marie Steele Ball; two brothers, Charles Ball and Raymond Ball; two sisters, Ella M. Sipe and Mary Southall.
Friends will be received Wednesday, November 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. 6 to 8 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
