Scott Louis Kestner, 52 of Washington died Friday, November 8, 2013 in the Washington Hospital.
He was born August 19, 1961, in Washington the son of Darla Debbis Doak and the late Robert Kent Kestner.
Scott was a graduate of McGuffey High School. He operated heavy equipment in North Carolina and Virginia for 20 years. He also was a delivery driver for the Medicine Shop.
He played softball for and was a member of the Polish Club and an avid Steelers fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his companion Sheryl “Punkin” Roupe; two sons, Adam (Anna) Kestner of Washington, Mark Crompton of Washington; four daughters, Jennifer (Danny) Carson of Connellys Spring, NC, Kristy Kestner of Connellys Spring, NC, Katie Kestner of Hickory, NC, Dawn Zambelli of Washington; a brother, R. Todd (Vicki) Kestner of Carencrow, LA; two half sisters, Jill Bloor of Camp Hill, PA, Robin Kerrick of Enola, PA; stepmother; Naomi Kestner of Camp Hill, PA and his maternal grandmother, Clare Debbis of Washington; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Polish Club, 64 Griffith Ave, Washington on Sunday, November 10th from 1 to 3 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
