Matthew W. Clayton

Matthew Wayne Clayton, 55, of Washington, died November 19, 2013, in his residence. He was born May 31, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late David Clayton, Sr., and Lois J. Miller Clayton. Mr. Clayton graduated from Avella High School in 1978 and was a self-employed plumber. Surviving are his wife, Stacey McMullen; a son, Chad Clayton of Belle Vernon; two daughters, Gina Mace of Washington and Cassandra Clayton of Houston; two brothers, Paul W. Clayton and David A. Clayton, Jr., both of Avella; and five grandchildren, Shelby Mace, Cameron Mace, Adam Mace, Tyler Clayton and Leyna Clayton. A memorial service will be held at Noon, Tuesday, November 26th, at Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Buffalo Village, with Pastor Judy Mayer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 60 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
