Carol Ann Culp

Carol Ann Culp, 61 of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, December 11th at St. Clair Hospital following a brief illness. She was born September 19, 1952 in Washington the daughter of Patricia Kervin Porter and the late Donald Porter. She graduated from Canon-McMillan High School and attended Penn Commercial for two years. Carol work for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare as a department supervisor for over 30 years. She was a member of Smithfield United Church of Christ. She was a dog trainer and participated in Dog Shows and had last been a dog safety instructor for the Humane Society, educating school students throughout South Western Pennsylvania. Also surviving are two brothers, Ed (Mary) Porter of Centerville, VA, Gregory (Jamie Reed) Porter of Washington; a sister, Coleen (Martin) Mehlmauer of Houston; two nieces, Elizabeth Porter and Patricia Porter; two nephews, Aaron Mehlmauer and Daniel Porter. Friends will be received Friday, December 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA where services will be held Saturday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray.
