Jean H. Clemens, 90, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, December 14, 2013.
She was born November 12, 1923, in Washington, a daughter of Adam Hoffman and Frances M. McCool Hoffman.
Mrs. Clemens first worked at the water company in Washington for 15 years, then at RCA Corporation in Florida from the 1960’s to the 1980’s. In addition, she was the campaign supervisor for the Arthritis Foundation of West Palm Beach for 20 years.
Mrs. Clemens loved spending time with her granddaughter and enjoyed her dogs and playing bingo.
On July 1, 1949, she married William J. Clemens, who died January 27, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Jo Rose (Tom) of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and Billie Jean Pellett (Skip) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and a granddaughter, Shelby Jane Pellett.
Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 20th, with Father Thomas P. O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
