Walter Richard Stasiowski

Walter Richard Stasiowski, 74, of West Alexander, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013, in Kindred Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born on April 14, 1939, in Meadowlands, a son of Rose Gostic Stasiowski, of Alexandria, VA, and the late Walter J. Stasiowski. Mr. Stasiowski had worked as a mechanic and driver for Don Swart School Buses. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, and all Pittsburgh teams. On August 16, 1958, he married Joyce Fife, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Ronald Stasiowski, of West Alexander, Michael Stasiowski, of Washington, and Joseph (Lisa) Stasiowski, of Claysville; a daughter, Katherine (Robert) Weaver, of Washington; a brother, Robert (Pat) Stasiowski, of Alexandria, VA; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Stephen Stasiowski. Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2013, with Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. Burial in Claysville Cemetery will be private, and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen, Pittsburgh, 1133 S. Braddock Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218.
