Shari Lynn Cox

Shari Lynn Cox, 46 of Prosperity died Wednesday, December 25th, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 3, 1967 in Washington County, the daughter of the late Frank Mazzacco and Karen Hopper Macioszek. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, John Macioszek. She was a 1985 graduate of Chartiers Houston High School and was a homemaker and had previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Washington County Health Center. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends and helping others. She was also a member and trustee of the Meadowlands Sportsman Association. On October 19, 1989, she married Ralph J. Cox who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Naomi L. Cox (Brian Breese) of Plumsock, Chelsea K. Cox (Kory Yocum) of Washington; a sister, Rhonda Giancola; two grandchildren, Landon and Carson. Deceased in addition to her father is an uncle, William “Bill” Hopper. Friends will be received Sunday, December 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington,. Burial is private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
