Herbert Chadwick

Herbert Chadwick Sr., 78, of Washington, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at the Washington County Health Center. He was born December 15, 1935, in Sycamore, the son of Thomas William Chadwick and Hazel Oliver Kelley Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick worked for Chadwick Construction and was a truck driver at Sorice Trucking. He served in the National Guard Reserves. Herbert was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved driving his truck. He was married to Patricia J. Cassidy who died July 25, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Herbert Chadwick, Jr. of Washington, Thomas J. (Denise) Chadwick of Nineveh; two daughters, Carrie (John) Mounts of Taylorstown, Kathleen Williams of Washington; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Deceased are four brothers, Bill, John, Duane and Richard; two sisters, Viola and Mary and two babies. Friends will be received Thursday, January 9th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave., Washington where services will be held Friday, January 10th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
