Harry V. Ward, Jr.

Brockway Glass Co. packer Harry Vaunt “Bugsy” Ward Jr., 80, of Washington, died Monday, January 6, 2014, in Humbert Lane Care Centre, South Strabane Township. He was born February 14, 1933, in Washington, a son of Harry V. Ward Sr. and Margaret Labozzo Ward. Mr. Ward was employed as a packer for Brockway Glass Co. for 33 years. He enjoyed walking, playing basketball and ping-pong, and he loved cats. Mr. Ward was married to Carmella Ward, who died September 16, 2011. Surviving are a sister, Betty Ruetschi of Prosperity; and two brothers, Robert Ward of Washington and Don Ward of Michigan. Deceased are two sisters, Doreen Ward and Shirley Orsky. At the request of the deceased, all services are private. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
