Pamela S. Bryker, 59, of Washington, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in the Donnell House. She was born on September 2, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of Audrey Nelan Stevenson, of Washington, and the late Robert Stevenson. A graduate of Trinity High School, she graduated from the Washington Hospital School of Nursing, and from Carlow University, attended Carnegie-Mellon University, and received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, from Waynesburg University. Pamela was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mrs. Bryker was the Director of Case Management, founding director of the Outpatient Observation Unit, as well as the Director of the Diabetes Education Program at Washington Health System, where she had been employed for over 16 years. In addition, she had worked at Interim Healthcare for 4 years, and also worked at the Apollo Wellness Program. A member of the American Case Management Association and board member of United Way, she was a member of the Washington Health System Foundation, and involved in the Animal Rescue League. Her husband, Bill Bryker, survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Max (Christina) Cummings, of Baltimore, MD and Benjamin Cummings, of Shaler, PA; 2 daughters, Kimberly (Scott) Anderson, of Hamilton, IN, and Renee (Kevin) Urick, of Brownsville; 2 stepsons, Thomas Bryker, of Washington, and Christopher (Tricia) Bryker, of Washington; a brother, Timothy (Sarah) Stevenson, of Alexandria, KY, a sister, Roberta “Bert” (Edgar “Corky”) Garner, of Washington; 3 grandchildren, Leah and Kera Urick, and Mackenzie Cummings, and 3 step grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, and Avery Bryker. Deceased is a nephew, Marine Lance Corporal Chad Garner. Friends will be received on Friday, from 1 to 5 p.m., and 6 to 9 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father William Feeney as Celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Health System Foundation, designated to Palliative Care, 155 Wilson Ave., Washington, PA 15301, or Donnell House, in care of Hospice Care of Washington Health System, 155 Wilson Ave., Washington, PA 15301.
