Charles Burdette Ingersoll, 94, of Washington, died Friday, February 14, 2014, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation, Canonsburg.
He was born February 16, 1919, in Cameron, West Virginia, a son of Charles Ingersoll and Betsy Kettle Ingersoll.
Mr. Ingersoll worked at Ball Glass for 28 years, retiring as foreman of the shipping department.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.
On March 2, 1946, he married Mildred Emma Fedis, who died June 29, 2003.
Surviving are a son, William C. Ingersoll (Candace) of Prosperity; two sisters, Juanita McGary of Texas, and Wanda Woodruff of West Virginia; two grandchildren, William Ingersoll, Jr., and Stacey Ingersoll; a great-grandchild, Shaylynn Ingersoll; a great-great grandchild, Logan Ingersoll; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public viewing or service.
