Felice Miers Cuthbert

Felice Miers Cuthbert, 87, of Houston, died on Friday, March 7, 2014, in her home. She was born on February 27, 1927, in Kingston, PA, a daughter of the late H. Russell and Jennie Devens Miers. A graduate of Dallas High School, she also graduated from Nesbitt Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Cuthbert volunteered with the Red Cross and with Meals on Wheels, in the Washington area. She was Lutheran by faith. On August 28, 1948, she married Quentin Clyde Cuthbert, who died on June 19, 1986. Surviving are 2 sons, Scott (Debbie) Cuthbert, of Youngstown, FL, and Gregg (Tammie) Cuthbert, of Coraopolis; 2 daughters, Brenda Lynn (Walter) Cuthbert, of Houston and Judy (James) Wood, of Virginia Beach, VA; 6 grandchildren, Jordan, Lauren, Trevor, Jacquelyn, J.R., and Victoria, and 3 great grandchildren. Deceased are 2 brothers, Calvin and Jerry Miers. At the request of the deceased, all services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
