Loretta Hoy

Loretta Hoy, 92, of Washington, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in Country Meadows, Bridgeville.   She was born on May 15, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of the late John and Mary Pence Giecek.   Mrs. Hoy had attended Trinity High School.   A homemaker, she was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church for 56 years.   She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #404.   On February 21, 1946, she married Paul Hoy, who died on July 1, 2004.   Surviving are a sister, Blanche G. Sworden, of Silver Creek, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and grand nephews.   Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Walter and John Giecek, and three sisters, Helen McNeely, Olga Adams, and Jennie Cerenzia.   Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.   Arrangements were entrusted to the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301.   Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
