Elaine M. Freiberger

Elaine Marie Freiberger, 89, of McMurray, formerly of Washington, died March 18, 2014, in Paramount Senior Living, McMurray.She was born December 11, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Blaine and Ethel Bennett Miller.  A homemaker, Mrs. Freiberger was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church, where she sang in the senior choir.  On October 23, 1942, she married William E. Freiberger, who died July 27, 2006.  Surviving are two sons, William L. Freiberger of Washington and Danny L. Freiberger of Coral Springs, Florida; a daughter, Pam Habe of McDonald; and three sisters, Lila Hufford, Lela Davidson, and Carolyn Blackhurst; 10 grandchildren, William S. Freiberger, Leslie Miklos, Christopher, Marissa, Lee, Danny and Amie Freiberger, Donald Habe, Jaclyn Espinal and Tami Cooper; and nine great-grandchildren.  Deceased are a brother, Blaine “Sonny” Miller; and three sisters, Betty Runquist, Lillian Friend and Pricella McGinnis.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 4 till 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 21st, with Rev. Michael Lehman officiating.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paramount Hospice, c/o Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care, 3025 Washington Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
