Christeen Ann Metz

Christeen “Chris” Ann Metz, 56 of Washington, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Donnell House, following a 3-year battle with cancer.   She was born October 2, 1957 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Curtis Bode and Rosemary Ryan Bode.   Chris was employed at the Washington School District in Food Service at Washington Elementary Educational Park.   She was catholic by faith and enjoyed camping, especially at the beach.   On July 31, 1976 she married Richard A. Metz who survives.   Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer L. (Jeremy) Dille, and Patricia Jo Metz both of Washington; a brother David (Eileen) Bode of Wheeling, WV; a grandson, Evan Lucas Metz.   A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
