Neva O. Riggle

Neva O. Riggle, 89, of Washington, died Monday, March 24, 2014, in Strabane Woods. She was born July 18, 1924, in Lowell, Ohio, a daughter of Leonard Bosold and Phoebe Jane Barnhart Bosold. Mrs. Riggle graduated from Hickory High School in 1942. She worked as a telephone operator while living in Colorado, in the receiving department at Gimble’s, and as a group leader at RCA.Mrs. Riggle was a member of First United Presbyterian Church.         On January 10, 1944, she married George Robert Riggle, who died March 5, 2010. Surviving are a son, Daniel H. Riggle of Claysville; a daughter, Marcia (James) McCalla of Washington; four grandchildren, Jim (Jennifer), Kevin, Kris and Emily Pozzi; two step grandchildren, Jeff Kuhn and Karie Lyons; two great-grandchildren, Ashley McCalla and Paige Pozzi; and four step great-grandchildren, Dalton Kuhn, Tackitt Lyons, Boone Lyons and Fallon Lyons; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a sister, Marie Bishop; and three brothers, Maurice, Roy and Homer Bosold. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 27th with Rev. Jennifer Dill officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Strabane Woods, 319 Wellness Way, Washington, PA 15301.
