Caden Frost Hilderbrand “Lil Warrior” Caden Frost Hilderbrand, 5, of Washington, died after his five-year battle with a terminal illness, Tay-Sachs Disease. He was a special little boy who was loved by so many people. He touched many lives without speaking a word. People he never met were touched by his story of struggle and survival. Caden fought a long hard battle and did not want to give up. Even in the end, he fought for every breath until he finally took his last breath and went peacefully at 12:20 a.m. on March 25, 2014. He was his family’s “Lil Warrior” and will be greatly missed by many. Surviving are his mother, Betsy Clark; brothers, Conrad Clark (wife Tori), Carson Clark and Coby Clark; sister, Caitlin Clark; grandparents, Greg “Bubby” Hilderbrand and Pam “Mam” Hilderbrand; great-grandmothers, Edna Hilderbrand and Dorothy Crawford; a niece, Izabella; great aunts, Paula Fulton (husband Brent), Lori Tennant (husband Frank), Mary Cottrill, Susanne Fritz; great uncles, Bruce Crawford (wife Tina), Scott Crawford, (wife Debbie), and Kurtis Hilderbrand (wife Cindy); cousins, Nathan, Devin, and Frank Jr. Tennant, Eric Crawford (wife Zanna), Jason Crawford (wife Corrine), Megan Mecketti (husband Anthony), Brandon, Brittany, Jessie and Amanda Crawford, Tyler and Brittany Crawford, Kalyn Fritz and Amelia Tennant; great-aunt, Jean Amon. Deceased are great-grandfather, Conrad Hilderbrand, Great-grandparents, Lloyd and Virginia Salsberry; great-grandfather, Doc Crawford; great uncle, Conrad Hilderbrand; uncle Erik Hilderbrand; and a cousin, Virginia Lee Wilkinson. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29th, with Rev. Stephen Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
