Ruth Jeanne Ramsey

Ruth Jeanne Hagar Ramsey, 78 of Washington, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Allegheny General Hospital following a three-week illness.  She was born September 17, 1935 in Lock Four, PA the daughter of Jesse L. Hagar and Madge John Hagar. Jeanne graduated from Trinity High School in 1953 and worked for Sears for many years selling Craftsman Tools.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #409, the Arms Club and the Elks #776.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and great grandmother.  Surviving are two sons, Robert J. (Lori) Ramsey of Oviedo, FL and K. Scott (Maggie) Ramsey of The Colony, TX; two grandchildren, Erin Ramsey and Jenni Ramsey; two great grandchildren, Anna and Rhet.  Deceased are two brothers, Ralph and James Hagar.  Friends will be received Sunday, April   6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 395 East Maiden St, Washington where services will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
