Albert John Rockey

 Albert “Jack” Rockey, 69 of Washington, died April 2, 2014 at the Washington County Health Center.   He was born January 17, 1945 in Washington, the son of the late Albert Martin Rockey and Martha Irene Poplava Rockey.  Jack’s passion was being a local DJ for 25 years. He also worked at McGraw Edison as a mill worker.  He was a devoted dad and grandfather.   Surviving are a son, Scott (Kristen) Rockey of Washington; a brother, Carl Rockey of Washington; a sister, Barbara McClain of Avella; two grandchildren, Jordyn and JR Rockey; an ex wife, Nancy Plymira; several nieces and nephews.   Friends will be received Saturday, April 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where a Blessing service will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will  follow at Forest Lawn.
