William Michael Dhayer, 56 of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 21, 2014.
He was born October 31, 1957 in Washington the son of Patricia Pruce Dhayer and the late William Henry Dhayer.
He graduated from Trinity High School in 1975 and attended I.C.M. School of Business for 2 years.
Bill worked at Washington Hospital for 31 years in Information Technology Systems.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine church in Avella.
He enjoyed all sports, Pirates, Steelers, Penguins, fishing, golf and especially softball when he was younger. He was also a photography enthusiast.
Surviving are a sister, Deborah (Tom) Howard of Cecil; a niece, Stacey (Jason) Miller; a nephew, Stephen Howard; a great nephew, Camden Miller.
Friends will be received Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 176 Cross Creek Rd., Avella, with Father Edward Lucas at celebrant. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery.
