Peter K. Balogh

Peter Kalman Balogh, 68, of Washington, died May 1, 2014, in his residence, following a brief illness. He was born January 26, 1946, in Scharding, Austria, a son of Stephen Balogh and Ilona Vuich Balogh. Mr. Balogh attended the University of Miami and graduated from Art School in New York. He worked as a commercial artist and dog groomer. Mr. Balogh enjoyed traveling, especially to the ocean in Florida, snorkeling and dancing. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. On August 19, 2000, he married Jody Weekly, who survives. Also surviving are two half-sisters, Giorgi Manjarezz of Las Vegas, Nevada and Camilla Holtz of Arizona. Deceased is a half-brother Stephen Balogh. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service.
