Lewis Raymond Korzinski Jr.

Lewis Raymond Korzinski Jr., 39 of Monongahela, formerly of Avella, died Saturday, May 17th in North Carolina. He was born December 24, 1974 in Washington the son of the late Lewis R. Korzinski Sr. and Betty Higgins Korzinski. Lewis graduated from Avella High School in 1994 and was employed as an Ironworker with Local #3 in Pittsburgh. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and he also coached Avella Youth baseball. Surviving are a son, Lewis R. Korzinski, III, of Avella; a sister, Heidi (Bill) Smith of Mooresville, NC; nieces and nephews, Derek, Brooklynne and Avery Smith, Geanna, Brandon and Gage Samol. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 22nd, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ben Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Spring Cemetery.
