Fay Frankenbery, 77, of Eighty Four, died June 4, 2014, in Donnell House.
She was born June 17, 1936, in Uniontown, a daughter of Arthur Ronald Goodwin and Augusta Cook Goodwin.
Fay graduated from Uniontown High School in 1954. She worked for Dr. Dale DeConcilis, OD, for 8 years and Dr. Edwin Assid, Orthodontist, for 28 years as a receptionist.
Fay was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and was a former Deacon. She enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles, was an amateur ham radio operator with the call sign KA3VOM, and was active in the WACOM amateur radio club.
On August 21, 1955, she married Lowell Thomas Frankenbery, who died March 19, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Lt. Col. Kenneth T. Frankenbery (Lynne) of Aliquippa and David A. Frankenbery (Tina) of Custer, South Dakota; a brother, Robert Goodwin (Janice) of Hopwood; two sisters, Margaret Frankenbery (Lee, deceased) of Uniontown and Nancy Goodwin of Houston; and two step granddaughters, Aliah Adams and Megan Adams.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 9th. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
