William Henry Shrader

William Henry Shrader, 78, of Amity, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, in UPMC – Mercy, Pittsburgh, following a three-year illness. He was born June 23, 1935, a son of the late William Shrader and Anna Ellifritz Shrader. Mr. Shrader worked for Robinson Pipe Company for 10 years and Sears Delivery for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fishing. On September 25, 1963, he married Emily J. Carroll, who died April 11, 2004. Surviving are a son, Ralph Clemens of Amity; a grandson, Ralph Clemens, Jr., of Amity; four great-grandchildren, Isabella, Sidney, Rex and Ivy; three brothers, Kenny and Clarence “Shorty” Shrader, both of Prosperity, and Charlie Shrader; a sister, Ruth Durbin of Prosperity; two nephews, Bud and Bob Durbin; and his companion, Rose Durbin. Deceased are several brothers and a sister. There will be no public viewing or service. Private burial will be held in Washington Cemetery at a later date.
