Lois Jean Roberts Davis, 64, of Washington, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in the Donnell House, following a 7-year illness. She was born on July 29, 1949, in Washington, a daughter of Martha Britt Miller, of Washington, and the late John Alden Roberts. A member of Claysville Christian Church, she had been a meat packer for Green Valley Packing for more than 30 years. Mrs. Davis was a family-oriented person, who loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers and yardwork. On June 3, 1972, she married Clarence Davis, who died on November 3, 2007. Surviving are 2 sons, Brian E. (Shirley) Davis, and Brad L. (Melissa) Davis, both of Claysville; a daughter, Beth A. (Ray) Shriver, of Claysville; four brothers, Bob (Jana) Roberts, of Claysville, Don (Jill) Miller, of Claysville, Ray (Lynn) Miller, of Washington, and Rich Bell, of Claysville; three sisters, Nancy Gray, of Washington, Ruth (Archie) Davis, of Claysville, and Linda (Jim) Davis, of Claysville; five grandchildren, Dalton, Mason, Olivia, Jordan and Tanner; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, are a stepfather, Gaylord Miller, and a grandchild, Josie Davis. At the request of the deceased, there was no public visitation, and burial was private. A public Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2014, in the Claysville Christian Church, Church St, Claysville, with Rev. Meade Lacock and Rev. Bruce Graff officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Claysville Christian Church, Church Street, Claysville, PA 15323.
