Mary Pearl Campbell

Mary Pearl Campbell, 84 of Washington, died Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Washington Hospital. She was born October 30, 1929 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Clifford Garrard and Dorothy Mason Garrard. She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and was employed as a secretary at Presbyterian Senior Care for 10 years. Mary enjoyed reading her bible, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. On November 18, 1949 she married Erwin E. Campbell Jr., who died May 17, 2010. Surviving are a son, Randy S. (Donna Brown) Campbell of Washington; a daughter Susan Lynn Corbin of Washington; eight grandchildren, Neil, Jamie, Matthew, Jonathan, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Kirsten and Nicole; three great grandchildren, Evan, Emma and Sophia. Deceased are a son, James Ross Campbell and a grandson, James Ross Campbell Jr. Friends will be received Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington where services will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Garancosky officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
