Steven James Grudi, 47, of Eighty-Four, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born March 9, 1967, in Washington, a son of Margaret Barlow Grudi of Florida and the late Robert Grudi, Sr.
Mr. Grudi formerly worked as a golf pro and enjoyed golfing and hunting.
He was a veteran of the Army, serving from August 1986, until his honorable discharge in September 1989. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon and Expert Badge for Rifle and Hand Grenade.
Surviving are a son, Michael Grudi; a daughter, Amber Grudi, both of Washington; two brothers, Terry Grudi of Philippi, West Virginia and Robert Grudi, Jr., (Joan) of McMurray; and a sister, Beth Grudi of Baltimore, Maryland.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
