Betty Ann Bazant

Betty Ann Bazant, 82 of Washington, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Paramount Senior Living. She was born January 27, 1932 in Washington, the daughter of the late Alfred Bright and Ruth Beddow Bright. Betty was a homemaker and a member of Avery United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bingo, ballroom dancing and taking care of her home and family. On August 18, 1951 she married Stanley S. Bazant, who died July 7, 1997. Surviving are a son, Robert S. Bazant of Venetia (daughter in law Nicolle Bazant Pleil); a daughter, Denise (Ron) Davis of Washington; four grandchildren, Heather (Jon) Fischer, Shawn (Meghan Warcholak) Davis, Ryan and Nathan Bazant; several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Helen R. Heiney. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 23rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Services will be held Thursday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Avery United Methodist Church 1100 Gabby Ave, Washington with Rev. Eric Hoeke officiating.
