Roberta Lee “Bobbi” Curry, 76 of Washington, died Monday, August 11, 2014 at Presbyterian Senior Care following a lengthy illness.
She was born February 13, 1938 in Claysville, the daughter of the late Robert Vere Jinkens and Louise Smith Jinkens.
She was employed by FBT Trucking for 35 years as an administrator.
When she was young she played base with her husband and brother in the Eddy Jinkens and the Musical Knights Band.
Bobbi loved her children,
On November 13, 1981 she married Charles R. Curry who died September 25, 1999.
Surviving are two sons, J.D. (Cyndi) Scott of Claysville, Bryan P. (Sue) Scott of Malden, PA; two daughters, Leiann (Mark) Richards of Oakdale, MN, Terri D. (John) Riley of Washington; a brother, R. Edward (Connie) Jinkens of Claysville; five grandchildren, Tia Odom, Melissa Bellay, Melinda Wolfe, William McAdoo III, Danielle Scott; five great grandchildren,
Deceased is a sister Marjorie Poland.
Friends will be received Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery,
