Francis Osborne Miller, III, 59, of East Finley Township, died Thursday, August 14, 2014, in his residence.
He was born December 29, 1954, in Washington, a son of the late Francis O. Miller, Jr., and Edna Marie Lesson Miller.
Mr. Miller attended McGuffey High School and worked as a truck driver for Hahn Contracting and Al Geisler Trucking in Pittsburgh. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, gardening and turkey shoots. In addition, he enjoyed playing computer games and spending time with his grandchildren and his many dogs.
Mr. Miller was a member of the dart ball team and pool league at the Taylorstown Legion and a former member of South Strabane Volunteer Fire Department.
On October 7, 1972, he married Jonetta Ealy, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Robert O. Miller (Tina) of Claysville; two daughters, Christy Danyo (Michael) of Allenport and Carrie Sanney (Bernard) of West Finley; a brother, David Miller (Cathy) of Claysville; four sisters, Shirley Gullette (Frank) of Claysville, Marlyn Hawkinberry (Robert) of Scenery Hill, Frances Martinkosky (Jim) of Lansing, Ohio, and Annie Miller of Claysville; six grandchildren, Courtnee, Caitlin, Zander, Justice, Brandon and Bernard Jr.; and his father-in-law, Lloyd Ealy of Claysville.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 18th.
