Lyle Keith Junge

Lyle Keith Junge, 91 of Washington, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Consulate Health Care. He was born March 12, 1923 in Jefferson, PA the son of the late Frederick Junge and Pearle Huffman. Mr. Junge was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II, where her received the Victory Medal and the American Campaign and Asiatic Pacific ribbon. He was co-owner of the Victory Diner and worked at Cooper Industries as a mold maker. He married Ruth Leona Richmond who died December 10, 2 004. Surviving are a son, Dennis Junge of Washington; a sister, Sarah Mae Junge Urban; three grandsons, Hans, Vincent and Brent Anderson; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife are a daughter, Karen Junge Anderson and several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from noon to 2:00 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175.
