Theodore Eugene Semple, 67, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, August 23, 2014, in his home. He had been ill since February.
He was born May 3, 1947, in Oil City, a son of the late Donald Semple and Anna Bertha Klinko Semple.
Mr. Semple graduated from Trinity High School in 1965, attended Penn State University, and graduated from the Western School of Veterinary Technology. While a student at Penn State, he was drafted in to the Army and was transferred to the Army’s Ready Reserves, from which he was discharged on October 1, 1973.
Mr. Semple previously worked in customer service for International Paper. Most recently he was a vet tech at Castle Shannon Animal Hospital.
He loved fishing, animals and the outdoors.
On October 16, 1976, he married Patricia Suthard, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Brigette Kennedy and husband James and Vicki Riggle and husband Greg, all of Houston; two brothers, Michael Semple and wife Tracy and Ronald Semple and wife Renae, all of Washington; a sister, Cheryl Bauer and husband Gunther of Washington; and four grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Ashton and Christian.
Deceased is a sister, Judy Clemens.
At the request of the deceased, no public services are being held.
