John William Knestrick

John William Knestrick, 71, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, in the Washington Hospital. He was born January 9, 1943, in Washington, a son of Merle Knestrick and Emma Myers Knestrick. Mr. Knestrick attended Washington High School and worked as a truck driver at Washington Barber and Beauty Supply for 30 years and The Washington City Mission for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing. On December 4, 1965, he married Sandra L. Cage, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John W. (Hilary) Knestrick, Jr., of Claysville; a daughter, April Jo Fleischauer (Robert) of Washington; a brother, David Knestrick of Washington; three sisters, JoAnne Cage (Delbert), Debbie Kosek (Joe) and Susan Knestrick, all of Washington; six grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Tyler, Robert Jr., John III, and Chad; and two great-grandchildren, Ernie and Zeke. Deceased is a brother, Merle Knestrick. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 22nd, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
