Raymond Edward Kennedy, 53, of Avella, died unexpectedly, on Friday, September 19, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on November 14, 1959, a son of the late Robert C. and Barbara Joyce Pierce Marth.
A graduate of Avella High School, he was a self-employed carpenter.
Mr. Kennedy loved hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, and woodworking.
On November 9, 2007, he married Cynthia Wilson, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph Kennedy, of Fredericktown, a stepson, Jacob Slider, of Avella, a stepdaughter, Karli Hamilton, of Washington, a brother, Joseph C. Marth, of Meadowlands; three sisters, Dianna Nicks, of Washington, Mary Marth, of Aliquippa, and Allison Stevens, of Ritcheyville; and three step grandchildren, Emily, Alexandra and Hannah.
Deceased is a brother, Robert Kennedy.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
