Bernadette Marie Dhans

Bernadette Marie Dhans, 42 of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was born September 8, 1972 in Washington the daughter of Bernard Dhans Jr. and Leona May Beadling Dhans Dewalt. Bernadette was a graduated of Chartiers Houston High School and employed as a Nurses Aid at Ohio Valley Hospital. She was caregiver for her stepfather, Duane. She enjoyed spending time with nieces and other family members, fishing, camping, going to the beach and target shooting. She was a very caring person and loved her cat “Wheezie”. Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Michael J. (Denise) Dhans of Washington, Robert Lee Dhans of Washington; one sister, Paulete (Craig) Dhans-Lang of Pittsburgh; her girlfriend, Mary Kay of Robinson Township; stepfather, Duane Dewalt of Washington; four nieces, Christina (Michael) Megyesy, Kylie Dhans, Michala Dhans, Mackenzie Dhans; one nephew, Nathan Delsignore; four great nieces and nephews, Austin Megyesy, Tiffany Megyesy, Hailey Megysey, Sarah Belle Dhans and several aunts and uncles. Deceased is a half brother, Bernie Dhans II. Friends will be received Friday, October 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Donald O’Hare officiating.
