Ella Mae Johnson, 89, of Washington, died Sunday, October 5, 2014, in Presbyterian Senior Care.
She was born August 10, 1925, in Dover, Delaware, a daughter of Louis E. Faulkner and Alma King Dunnipace Faulkner.
Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Trinity High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 25 years and sang in the choir.
On October 14, 1949, she married Donald G. Johnson, who died September 26, 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Terry W. Johnson of Washington and Douglas K. Johnson (Laura) of Weirton, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Daniel Wright, Heather Hanson, Clinton Wright, Tiffany Whiteman and Stacia Findlay; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Donna Wright, and a sister, Florence Lovejoy.
Friends will be received from 1 till 6 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, October 8th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., with Rev. Lois Swestyn officiating. Private burial will be held in Forest Lawn.
